Gary J. Moynihan, CPA

Mr. Moynihan, a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Massachusetts since 1990, is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Mr. Moynihan received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Norwich University in Northfield, Vermont (the oldest military university in the Country) in 1985. He has had advanced training in auditing, tax, and general management through courses offered by various institutions, as well as through the Continuing Professional Education Divisions of the Massachusetts and New York States Societies of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Mr. Moynihan has extensive experience in the small to medium sized corporate, partnership and Limited Liability tax markets as well as individual taxes. He has worked extensively with structuring business start-ups, liquidations, acquisitions and mergers. Mr. Moynihan has also worked extensively as project accountant on specific downtown Pittsfield development projects utilizing tax incentive financing.

Mr. Moynihan works with business owners as their primary financial advisor to optimize their operational and financial performance through management and tax advisory services related to entity selection, profit analysis, cost controls, deferred compensation, and organizational structure.

Mr. Moynihan works extensively with youth athletic programs as a coach, project development director and program advisor. He has served as Treasurer for the town of Windsor and other local projects.

Mrs. Leibinger-Healey, a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Massachusetts since 1998, has been the Firm's audit manager for several years and was promoted to a Director effective July 1, 2008. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from North Adams State College in 1993 and has been with the firm since 1997.

Mrs. Leibinger-Healey is a native and lifelong resident of Massachusetts. She served on the Western Massachusetts Committee of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants for three years and is past treasurer and current finance committee and board member of the Gladys Allen Brigham Community Center (formerly Girls Incorporated of the Berkshires). She also sits on the finance committee of Berkshire United Way and is a 2005 graduate of the Berkshire Leadership Program.

Mrs. Leibinger-Healey’s audit experience encompasses a wide variety of organizations including federal and state grants, nonprofit organizations and private corporations. She has an understanding of the firm’s comprehensive audit and accounting manuals and of the publications of the Office of Management and Budget pertinent to a single audit including Circular A-133, and the Compliance Supplement for Single Audits. She has experience preparing and reviewing the Massachusetts Uniform Financial Report (UFR) for several state funded nonprofit agencies. Mrs. Leibinger-Healey’s tax experience includes research and planning related to and the preparation of personal, corporate, partnership, estate and trust, payroll, sales and use, and state income tax returns.

Mr. Viscuso, a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Massachusetts, is a director and a shareholder in Adelson & Company, P.C. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Viscuso graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from Siena College in 1978 and upon graduation joined Adelson & Company, P.C. In 1983, he was promoted to the position of manager with the firm and in 1988 was promoted to principal.

Mr. Viscuso, a native and resident of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, has specialized in the area of nonprofit and governmental accounting and auditing for over twenty years and is the director in charge of the firm's department. Mr. Viscuso has been awarded by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants a Certificate of Educational Achievement in Governmental Accounting and Auditing for his advance education in this specialized area.

His civic involvement includes being the past treasurer and board member of the Pittsfield YMCA and a past president and treasurer of the Greater Pittsfield Jaycees.

A significant part of his experience has been directed toward the expression of an opinion on financial statements and has encompassed all of the following: 1. Experience in planning the program of audit work including the selection of the procedures, and sampling techniques to be followed in the study and evaluation of internal control.

2. Experience in the preparation of written explanations and comments on the audit findings and in writing management letter recommendations for system improvements.

3. Experience in auditing grantees for compliance with federal, state and local funding requirements and preparation of the report on compliance.

4. Experience as Audit Partner in supervising the Firm's largest audit engagements.

Mr. Viscuso has performed the aforementioned procedures in a quality control conscious environment. He has a thorough understanding of the Firm's comprehensive audit and accounting manuals and as Audit Director is responsible for guiding new staff members in its proper use.

The depth of Mr. Viscuso's audit experience encompasses a wide variety of organizations including audits of municipalities, federal and state grants, local transportation and planning agencies, non-profit organizations and private corporations.

Mr. Irwin is a shareholder and director with Adelson & Company PC.  He graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a Bachelor of Business Administration and joined the firm in 2001.  Mr. Irwin is licensed as a certified public accountant in the State of Massachusetts.

Mr. Irwin is the President of Board of Directors of Berkshire Community Action Council and the Treasurer of Downtown Pittsfield, Inc.  He has also completed the Berkshire Leadership Program.  He has advanced training in auditing, compilation and reviews offered by the Continuing Professional Education Divisions of the Massachusetts Certified Public Accountants and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Mr. LaFleche, a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Massachusetts since 1976, is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has served as a member of the Massachusetts Society's Quality Control, Construction Industry and Financial Reporting Committees. He is a member of the Massachusetts Society's Speakers' Bureau and is a member of the Berkshire County Estate Planning Council.

Mr. LaFleche is a native of Berkshire County and resident of Pittsfield. A 1974 graduate of the School of Business of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Mr. LaFleche was awarded the degree of Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting cum laude. He has had advanced training in auditing, tax and general management at courses offered by various institutions as well as the Continuing Professional Education Divisions of the Massachusetts and New York Societies of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Mr. LaFleche has addressed professional groups on various financial topics. He has also directed and participated in numerous training programs conducted for Adelson & Company's professional staff. He has also served as discussion leader and conducted several seminars for fellow professionals regarding auditing standards, reporting and quality control in a C.P.A. practice, as well as various tax topics. He has conducted AICPA reviews of fellow professionals in compliance with the quality control standards.

In addition to his auditing background, Mr. LaFleche has worked extensively with cost and management information systems. He has conducted several management advisory services engagements including the determination of allowable costs before state regulatory agencies and review of overhead and billing rates and profitability. Mr. LaFleche serves as the firm's director of tax and financial planning services.

Mr. LaFleche has more than twenty eight years of varied experience with Adelson & Company, P.C. He has full responsibility for conducting and managing numerous audits and tax compilation engagements of wholesale, construction, manufacturing, service, non-profit and financial organizations as well as special audits for determining costs or selling price.

His current civic involvement includes being the treasurer of Downtown Pittsfield, Inc. and the Catholic Youth Center and being a past president and secretary of the Rotary Club of Pittsfield and treasurer of Hospice Care
